Autumn COVID-19 and Flu Clinics
We are pleased to announce that our Autumn COVID-19 and flu vaccination clinics will be starting soon. Appointment booking will be available shortly.
We must follow the eligibility criteria produced by the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) as detailed below. If you are not in one of these eligibility criteria you may be able to pay to have the vaccinations privately from a local pharmacy.
Flu Vaccination Eligibility:
- Patients aged 65 or turning 65 before 31st March 2025.
- Adults aged 18 to 64 in a clinically ‘at-risk’ group.
- Children aged 6 months to 17 years with certain long-term health conditions
- Pregnant individuals, carers, and health and social care workers.
- School-aged children (Reception to Year 11) will be vaccinated at school.
Covid Vaccination Eligibility:
- Patients aged 65 or turning 65 before 31st March 2025.
- Patients aged 6 months to 64 in a clinically ‘at-risk’ group.
- Residents in a care home for older adults.
- Pregnant individuals, carers, and health and social care workers.
Invitation and Booking:
- Eligible patients will soon receive an invitation to book an appointment via SMS or email.
- Please ensure your contact preferences are up to date.
- For those without access to a mobile or email, appointments can be made through our designated vaccination telephone line.
