Many Afghan citizens who played a vital role in supporting British Armed Forces during many years of military operations in the country are now being relocated to the UK.

These men and women, along with their immediate family members, are due to be temporarily housed in empty military accommodations, at locations including Shrivenham and Larkhill.

Our GP practice is working with the UK government and the Ministry of Defence to ensure the safe and supported arrival of these citizens, and to provide any necessary health checks.

Existing patients are reassured that this activity will not affect day-to-day services, and appointments with familiar practice colleagues will be available as before.
