Changes To Our Opening Times At Our Larkhill Surgery

We write with exciting news!!

We are pleased to announce that we have welcomed Matthew Burnett and Julia Hackforth as partners in the Practice on the 1st April 2021. They have both been working with us for a number of years; Julia has been with us since September 2017 and Matthew joined in August 2018. They have joined Dr Chet Sheth in continuing to deliver and uphold care to each and every one of you. Sadly we said goodbye to Dr Jaya Jilumudi and Anna Morton as partners on 31st March.

With the new Partnership and the easing of lockdown measures, we are making some improvements to our service. We are adapting our rotas to give greater availability for face to face appointments and to also continue with the success of our telephone, video and SMS consultations with you. With this in mind we are piloting a scheme for the months of May, June and July whereby we are going to run a satellite service to our Larkhill site. What this means is that we will be running a full clinical service on a Monday and a Thursday but we will be shutting for face to face appointments in the afternoons. We will continue to provide telephone consultations on these afternoons and triage will continue. Of course we will be keeping the reception and dispensary open during these times. By opening more face to face appointments we will be increasing our capacity to see patients at Larkhill.

The triage system that we use will continue as it is. This means that all requests for an appointment with a Doctor or a Nurse Practitioner will be added to the triage list so that the clinicians can discuss with you prior to booking and ensure that you are seen at the right place, at the right time and by the right person.

We very much look forward to continuing to deliver the highest possible care whilst we come out of lockdown and all try to return to a more sociable way of life!

We shall be inviting you all to join a live Teams Q&A meeting in mid-June to discuss the changes and answer any questions you all may have.
